The Perfect Earth Doesn't Need a Superman

One of the scenes that hit me real hard reading Infinite Crisis for the first time. Superman of Earth 2 enraged at the superheroes of Earth 1 for wasting the potential to be a perfect world explains to the Superman and Wonder Woman of Earth 1, why he did what he did, to bring Earth 2, the earth he viewed as perfect back into the universe. Superman of Earth 1 tells him however, that his earth (Earth 2) can't be the perfect earth since a perfect world doesn't need a Superman in it.
If you think about it in a meta sort of way, it makes sense, and I absolutely love it.
