Symbolism of the Season

Macro Monday Theme: Holiday Bokeh

 

With this macro, I tried to display some artistic symbolism. I chose a simple, white ornament I had made to signify the purity and the simplicity of Jesus's birth and His gospel. Then, with the bokeh, I wanted to capture the commercialism and the complexity that is found outside of Christ's Gospel. Hopefully, this Christmas I can focus on the simple beautiful truths of Christmas: love, service, family, kindness, etc.
