No matter your storms, how long you stay away, your wounds, your chaos, or imperfections, I will be here with my hand reaching out for you, always.
You may think that you are protecting me. Yet, I am holding the umbrella, building the sanctuary; the home and providing the safe harbour for you, always.
Two arms are waiting when you are ready and able to walk through the open door, out of the storm to rest your weary mind, body, and spirit, and rejoice once more...and Always.
One of my all time favorite romantic movies is "Always". It's about letting go of the past and being ready, able, and willing to embrace the new. The in-between is filled with storms and putting out the fires that arise so that later on, when it's time, you can dance once more with someone who is also ready, willing, and able.
Here in Florida, I not only survived the storms, but became stronger than ever because of them.
