Reflections of Falling
In an upside down Labyrinth of a world,
we could lay under the stars or dance as the universe unfurls.
Waiting patiently for a star to fall...
When boy meets girl.
How fast time flies when dreams deliciously swirl.
We dream about the moments of ecstasy, longing, and desire,
participate in the fantasies (that just strokes the embers and makes the fire go higher).
However, we fully appreciate the reality and take time to touch base.
I think it's meant to be, just you and me, dancing face to face.
Whether it's gathering up lilies for a nest, chasing monkeys in a tent (that's what we do best), or trekking in the misty fields of nebulas,
There's no other place I would rather be than in your arms. Just you. Just me.
As the world falls upside down, paint me mornings of gold and green.
As you look into my eyes, I'll keep believing and trusting this one thing:
As with any good artist's painterly brush, when hearts are involved...there is no rush.
