Blurred Lines

Old Harry Rocks, Dorset

Old Harry Rocks in Dorset is traditionally seen as a sunrise location due to its easterly orientation. However, by June the sun is setting so far to the north that its possible to shoot it at sunset and pick up some of the resulting colour.

I chose a minimalist composition for this four minute exposure as the evening haze had meant the horizon had disappeared and the sky and sea blended together nicely.

I'm really pleased with the result. I hope you like it.
