Pandialé (Pañchâli, ou Dolvédé : c’est-à-dire Draupadî) est l’épouse des frères Pândava, héros du Mahâbhârata. Son père, le roi Drupada, l’avait accordée comme prix au vainqueur d’un célèbre concours de tir à l’arc, Arjuna, qui dut partager sa récompense avec ses frères. La grande majorité des chapelles "rurales" réunionnaises sont consacrées à Pandialé, et c’est pour elle que sont organisées les marches sur le feu. Sa couleur est le jaune.
Pandialé (Pañchâli, or Dolvédé: that is to say Draupadî) is the wife of the Pândava brothers, heroes of the Mahâbhârata. His father, King Drupada, had granted it as a prize to the winner of a famous archery contest, Arjuna, who had to share his reward with his brothers.
