The path of least resistance
A group of Capuchin monkeys (Cebus imitator) near the roadside on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, were using a barbed wire fence and wooden supports surrounding a grazing field to get from tree to tree. Perhaps they felt it was safer than going though the tall grasses on the ground with the danger of snakes?
