Polar bears and sled dogs

The mother bear is not completely relaxed, not due to the nearness of the dogs, but to the presence of the other bear. I observed that there seemed to be a very tolerant relationship on both sides between the bears and the dogs. I think the bears got a feeling of safeness, when near the dogs, against the predations of large males that can kill cubs and the dogs seemed unfazed at the presence of the bears.
