Angled Luminary

Ceramic
This piece was my first attempt at scaling up my carved designs in the form of a luminary. During my gap year, I spent almost all of my free time returning to ceramics after the pandemic. In the process, I found a community among my fellow potters, and I constantly take inspiration from the work of others around me in order to find my own style. This form in particular was inspired by the ceramic artist Florian Gadsby and his angled vases.
