Artist Statement: a study on decaying flora, finding the beauty in all living things.
Something that gives me hope is being present and aware of my surroundings, finding beauty in all things, whether it be a newly sprouting seed in the garden, to a withering flower coming to the end of it's life cycle. There is hope in all stages of life, as well as beauty. Finding that never-ending beauty fulfills me and gives me hope, as does sharing what I find with others through my art.
