Fall into Crafting 5

I haven’t spent a lot more time crafting during the pandemic, but I think that’s only because most of my extra time and energy outside of school has gone toward the process of buying, renovating, and setting up an old house in Salina with my husband and the help of our families. That has been an artistic outlet for me during this time and has ranged from devising creative solutions for repairs (for instance: we removed the linoleum in the kitchen to get back down to the original hardwood and some of it was missing) to picking paint colors to hunting down décor. Luckily, we have been able to order most of our supplies online, use materials and tools we or my parents already had, and observe precautions when we had to go in store. This has been a new creative outlet for me and I have been doing a lot more planning with Pinterest and online shopping rather than spontaneous discovery of inspirational elements in places like Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabrics, and thrift stores.
