My husband is immunocompromised, so we have been extra careful about social distancing. During quarantine, everything was closed, obviously, but we continue to avoid our favorite activities like eating out at restaurants and art events. Instead, we have been exploring the many miles of trails around Kansas City. I am continuously awed by the natural beauty of our region.
