Forever Home

After hearing about how there had been a spike of fostering and adopting pets during quarantine, my husband and I considered adopting additional cats. We had a 15-year-old kitty that was in poor health. Her brother had passed in February, and she seemed lonely. I read that it’s best to adopt two kittens, so they can play with each other and not pester the senior too much. So in July, we adopted two eight-week-old kittens, who we have named Lana (the black) and Maeve (diluted calico). They kept our oldster company until her last days and have made these bleak times so much brighter.
