Abandoned Light, Eternal Light

A wide 12mm view of the Milky Way over the original lighthouse in Fuencaliente at the southern tip of La Palma (Canary Islands). The Andromeda galaxy is the spiral smudge directly at the top of the frame right from centre. Note the airglow (green / orange haze) and lights from the town of Faro beyond.
