"Minakshi Thakur is a writer and publisher. Her first book, An Indian Evening, a collection of poems in English, was published by Writers Workshop in 2002. She has since published two collections of Hindi poems: Jab Utthi Yavanika (When the Curtains Rose) in 2003; and in 2010, Neend Ka Akhiri Pul (The Last Bridge of Sleep), which was shortlisted for the Sahitya Akademi Young Writers’ Prize, 2011. Her first novel Lovers Like You and I, published by HarperCollins, was shortlisted for the Tibor Jones South Asia Prize 2013. She has trained in Hindustani classical music - Khayal and Dhrupad - for close to two decades.
She is currently working with Westland-Amazon as publisher of the Indian language programme."
