Clashnessie Bay

This was taken in Assynt, Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands. Like a lot of Scotland, the area is a little on the windy side and the bay is known for its dramatic waves, although on this occasion the sea was very calm. The rocks were being submerged before our eyes as the tide came in - they were barely visible within fifteen minutes (PC080271)
