lets see, on the last photo i gave yall a question on which bus company is breaking SC law, durham school services or school wheels direct? now for the answer. if you chose Durham School Services you are.......drumroll........ incorrect! (shocker!) if you chose school wheels direct then congrats you are correct! why is school wheels direct breaking the law and not durham school services? lets look at the the hint that i gave yall. the hint references the durham school services bus 518 warning light alarm video. school wheels diect is breaking SC law by not having warning light alarms on their buses. SC is a very complicated state when comes to school buses because as yall know SC has the largest and unfortunately the oldest state run school bus fleet in the nation. most states dont maintain their buses but SC does. anyways one of the laws state that every bus that is a 1995 bus and younger must have a 9 second warning light alarm on the bus including outside bus companies. durham school services did their homework and purchased a fleet of 88 2007 thomas c2s with warning light alarms (see reference bus 518). they got the exact same thing as the state got when it first purchased 2007 thomas c2s. still today those 2016 buses still have warning light alarms too. school wheels direct DID NOT do their homework before they came to SC in 2013. they have a fleet of 30 buses with SC bus license plates, this means that the state has the right to fine each bus or kick them out of the state. so anyone who lives in florida where school wheels direct is based in, please contact them to follow SC law. other wise some people can report to the governor's office and tell them that school wheels direct is breaking the law.
