EL MATADOR BEACH, CA IS EVERYTHING
El Matador Beach is right off of the PCH about an hour north of Los Angeles, CA. While it is easy to find while driving along the highway, parking isn't the easiest. There is a small parking lot that requires you to pay ahead of time and place the ticket in your car. Be sure to do this, because they do check and will ticket you. Also, it is a decent journey down steep flights of stairs to get to the beach so pack light. Be aware of tides changing throughout the day as the caves fill in with water. With all of the surrounding rocks in the area, it can be dangerous to get trapped in particular areas. Lastly, I have seen police ticketing for glass bottles of alcohol so be sure to pay attention to beach laws.
