Lady Bower-10
I have been hankering after getting this shot for about 3 or 4 years but the water has never been high enough to overflow when ever I have been there. So seeing the levels were high, decided I had to take the opportunity, Even with the 17-40 mm lens I struggled to get the whole thing in from some angles which was a bit disappointing for the ones I chopped off the edges. Had to balance the tripod over the wall which was not that sturdy so doing a pano stitch was not really an option Hard to believe in the summer the levels were so low you could see the ruins of the village that was flooded when the dams were built. Quite a few other photographers there so maybe you will similar shots elsewhere and there is loads as I thought I may as well try every angle of both plug holes as not sure when I will be lucky enough to see this again especially at sunset.
