in 1958, Truman Capote wrote "Breakfast at Tiffany's". In 1961 the book that has been written was immortalized in the movie with the same name by Audrey Hepburn . In 1969 even with success of the both, and to celebrate this step, Tiffany decided create a new line of jewels with the inscription: "please return to Tiffany", inspired in the character of the book/movie where for her there's no place like Tiffany, and where she feel so good, so complete, so special. The intention of the jewels was make the other womans feel the same.
