Dawning Flight

One of those misty mornings with some nice clouds in the sky, and a little gap in them to let that glimmer of light through at the first sunrise on the horizon. There's something kind of magical about watching all the seabirds "commute" to work in the morning... in particular there was one seagull that seemed to be outright curious of me, and was essentially circling me for nearly an hour while the other birds went about their business. I probably could have had the low flying cormorants in the frame too had I waited long enough for that perfect moment. These are large Pelicans, and why they tend to fly in flocks of 8 or so probably has something to do with efficient fishing or flying I'd imagine.
