Whispering Rocks

This is another example of just going out to shoot, even when you don't think anything is really possible. I had to cross a private golf course to get to this beach. The entire time I was watching for people carving balls in my general direction. The beach here is littered with balls. Sometimes there is green seaweed covering these rocks, but not this day. I decided to take my hand at trying to shoot them while they rolled around with each crashing wave. It's a dangerous game as anyone who shoots sea scapes knows, one giant wave can be the end of your camera system if you're not paying attention. I shot this with no digital back, as I had fried my back earlier in Iceland's rainstorms.
