it has been over 15 years since i was last at this spot just over a mile into the packsaddle gap. 15 years ago, NSPD, as well as maintainers and crews, used to be a lot more lenient about where you went and took photos. Also that long ago, my grandfather was still alive, and he used to take my dad and i back here, and he'd tell us story after story from his days working for the PRR, PC, and CR. Now, in 2021, it'll be 12 years since my grandfather has passed, however all of his stories still stick, and seeing a locomotive painted in a scheme he knew and loved in a spot i hold very near and dear to me, it made the wait to return here all the more worth it.
