Catalonian Lights
Whilst I was teaching English in a school in Barcelona I was fortunate enough to stay with a Spanish family. They had a balcony which overlooked almost the whole city of Barcelona, and every night we were given a beautiful view of the city coming to life.
When my friend came to visit I decided to take advantage of the wonderful sunset and placed my camera on a tripod, used my favourite lens, the Nikor 50mm (favourite because of it's fantastic depth of field ability) and brought the aperture as low as it would go to bring out this circular lights.
