Little Chef - Haydock
Happily, despite the loss of Knowsley and Astley Little Chefs, the A580 still has one survivor. This is Haydock Little Chef, not a million miles from the M6. Opened in 1989/90, Haydock fast became one of Little Chef's busiest sites, received a Coffee Stop, then a Burger King which closed in the mid 2000s but reopened in 2013 and then it was given the Choices refurbishment in 2002, giving it smart new furniture and customers access to exciting new menus such as Harry Ramsdens, Caffe Ritazza, Upper Crust and Wiseguys Pizza. These menus have sinced been removed though.
Along with the Little Chef at Astley (when it was open), Haydock Little Chef appeared in the 2004 comedy show, Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere
