The Rutherglen State Battery.
"This Battery was built in 1908 to extract gold from crushed quartz recovered from reefs in and around Rutherglen.
It was in use until 1994 yielding 5650 oz of gold from 6549 tons of quartz crushed during that period.
The Battery was restored and upgraded for visitors as part of the 150th anniversary of the discovery of gold in Rutherglen in 2010."
