Cyclopean Hamlet
Deep in an ancient and enchanted forest, a small group of Cyclopes have broken away from their tribe to establish a new life. As Cyclopean societies are almost always matriarchal, the chief and warriors are the blue skinned women, whereas the olive skinned men conduct more traditional domestic tasks such as gathering food and firewood. The head Cyclops has chosen a clearing located next to an abandoned human watchtower as the location for their new home. Not being skilled craftsmen, cyclopes prefer to inhabit pre-existing structures. Next to the watchtower they have constructed a number of crude round huts to live in. Most Cyclopes find round structures more pleasing than square and this group is no exception.
An entry in the 2019 Summer Joust in the 'Non-Human Civilisations' category (and 100percent purist this time) and a free-build for Guilds of Historica. Landscape strongly inspired by the work of Tirrell Brown (Blufiji). I don't think I would have ever used purple trees in a natural setting without his example!
