As I recall, the addition of the non-Helvetica exclamation marks to Target’s Helvetica “Sale” signs were a new feature around this time
WEEK 29 – Carrollton, GA, Target (II)
Looking out from the menswear department across to lingerie in this view. Again, note that lingerie still had its P93 department sign intact; no new P17 department signs had been installed in any of the apparel departments just yet.
Also worth noting is that lingerie still had its old carpeting as well, while menswear (in the foreground) had already been updated. The old carpet in lingerie still is not what the store would originally have opened with – that would have been the classic french fry pattern, instead – but it’s still been here a good long while. My teaser photo for this tour, you might recall, was an area of apparel where the old and new carpet patterns met and were patched together via duct tape.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
