WEEK 39 – Toys “R” Us Closing, Columbia, SC (III)
For our final interior photo of the place, here’s one last overview shot of the front right corner, and all the aisles within it that were organized in such a way as to corral shoppers through them as their only route to the salesfloor (stop me if you’ve heard that in this album before XD )
On the right side of the pic, you can see what would have been the customer service department, converted for the purposes of this closing sale into the one and only open register at which to complete your purchase. I have a feeling that originally, this guest services counter was also blocked off from access to the front door, which you can see right next to it; that’s because this store had dedicated, separate entry and exit doors.
