Cleveland Greenhouse
WEEK 2 – Cleveland Kroger, Post-Remodel (I)
Anyway, the point I’ve been trying to get to is that this store received a remodel sometime between 2016 and my return visit in July 2018 – likely coinciding with the replacement of that cube sign, now that I think about it – resulting in the script décor being replaced with one of Kroger’s current décor packages, fresh and local. (I say “one of” because, strangely for Kroger, the chain has several different packages going on right now, all simultaneously. Other examples include Marketplace, which has now been extended to non-Marketplace stores, and both Artisan and Urban Mix, which are basically the same thing and who knows why there’s a differentiation between the two.) (EDIT: Nope, those two are not at all the same thing! I realize that now, nine months after writing this description :P )
In these two pics we’ve been taking a look at this Cleveland store’s still-intact greenhouse-era exterior, pics which are substantially better than the ones in this album so far… (cont.)
