Corridor 2

(cont.) …but for some other tenants who left the mall, I’m less confident that their departures were not, in fact, reflections on Wolfchase… stores like The Disney Store (which I would’ve been standing directly in front of, here) or Starbucks, down on the lower level of the mall. (I mention Starbucks specifically because it seemed like they disappeared about the same time as that Teavana store you see across the way; my personal theory is that, what with all the recent-ish kerfuffle between Starbucks and Simon over the Teavana deal, the only way Starbucks was able to close the Teavana store was by closing the Starbucks proper as well. But I digress.)

To its credit, Wolfchase has been able to backfill most of the growing number of vacancies that have cropped up in recent memory, but by the same token, with national mall chains dwindling, the newcomers have been increasingly… what’s the best way to put this?... lower-end? I dunno. Just… not as upscale, you know? (Not that I’ve ever considered Wolfchase upscale; in fact, I think it’s the most accessible mall to all crowds in the Memphis metro insofar as tenant mix is concerned, as I wrote recently on Discord [see photo note]. But still.)

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
