WEEK 48 – Tupelo TriMax Triple Set (III)
With our interior tour all wrapped up now, stepping back outside we find ourselves taking this close-up look at the store’s façade. I can’t quite decide how I feel about the lighter brown color used for the support poles and bases of those columns (seems like the color at the top border, with the decorative element that runs throughout this shopping center, is of a darker shade of brown, one that I prefer over the lighter shade), but I do definitely like the white color used for the rest of the storefront here! Those shiny red OfficeMax letters look really nice set against the white paint, too :) I’m thinking those letters had to have been replaced not all that awful long before my visit, based on the sheer fact that a lot of times you’ll see a handful of letters really faded and others looking brand-new. So yes, it’s likely that this façade is a relatively new design for this store because of that. (Those three stripe elements on either side of the logo not being done up in a separate color also serves as indication that the façade has likely been redone at least once since the store’s opening date.)
