Schnucks-Style Roof Peak
WEEK 26.2 – Lakeland Kroger, Set I
Panning upward and to the right from the previous vantage point, we get this straight-on view of the roof peak above the produce department and perishables grand aisle at this store. As with the large picture window (just out of view behind me), this architectural design element remains here from the store's Schnucks days. As a matter of fact, the roof peak is tied in with the picture window on the storefront: check out this 3D Google Earth view (seen at the once-identical Germantown store) over at l_dawg2000's photostream to better see what I'm talking about.
This feature exists solely here in the store's produce department; the rest of the salesfloor has ceilings all of the same (still high!) height.
Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
