garden and flowers bring…
WEEK 8 – Batesville Kroger, Set II
(cont.) …not a problem, I say! Pssh… what a pansy.
…
Yes, I set that up precisely so I could make that joke. #notsorry
(ahem) Back to the topic at hand… I gave up my description to the previous photo, but in reality I really did mean to point out that I quite like the look of the floral department! The salesfloor placement is quite similar to Kroger’s old greenhouse stores, but of course as we discussed last time this store did not begin its life as a Kroger. The “flowers” sign itself could use a tiny bit of help with its “L,” but other than that, it all looks good!
And in this shot, right next to flowers, we see the transition point from produce to the next department along the perimeter wall, as marked by that paint changeover on either side of the tree stenciling. This is the same spot my original teaser photo from this store looks at – and, if you take a close look at the merchandise placed in the open-face cooler below the tree, perhaps now you’ll realize its significance… (cont.)

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
