Our cooler temps keep your produce fresher longer
Remodel, Week 35
Stepping closer to the produce cooler, I noticed that some additional little changes had been added over here in time for the grand reopening, including this little sign to the left of the entrance. It reads, “Our cooler temps keep your produce fresher longer.” A couple of things here… one, there’s no period at the end of their sentence. That bothers me. :P Two, I’m not sure how to interpret this message! Is it just stating the obvious? Is “cooler” meant to have a sly double meaning, and suggest that Sam’s produce temps are literally colder than those of other retailers? Is the sign meant simply to ward off those who complain it’s too cold in there?! So many questions XD
Design-wise, you can see that this sign carries the “secondary” scheme of the CCG décor, which we’ve seen in several other places in the store. However, what I found interesting… (cont.)

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
