Left-side detail
Remodel, Week 29
Moving over to the left side of the fresh island now. Here we can see more wood-paneled columns, more caution tape, and more case action, although what with the color inside that thing I hesitate to call it a refrigerated case this time. It looks heated, but I can't quite determine what its purpose is... I was thinking new home for rotisserie chicken, but it looks blocked to customers! So maybe it's like one of those cafeteria things where you point at what you want and the employee grabs it out for you? (My other comparison for that would be a jewelry counter, but that doesn't fit well with the food :P )
