Checkout Counters
WEEK 52 – Southaven Burlington Relocation: Finale (Buck's Bargain Center)
As I was exiting, I tried my best to discreetly get this shot of the checkout counters beyond that front end dividing wall I showed you earlier in this set. Frankly, I'm surprised at how well this turned out, lol! You can see each of the apparently-four (earlier in this album, I said there were only three: whoops, my bad!) lanes is joined by an endcap with yet more merchandise placed on it, and three out of four have Coke fridges as well. And don't forget the front wall, too, which – you guessed it! – has even more stuff for sale placed along its length!
Surprisingly, for being at the front end – and having sodas for sale – none of the endcaps look to be stocked with candy. That seems quite odd to me. I mean, regardless of the store type, it seems like EVERY store has candy at the checkouts! And speaking of candy... a Moon Pie is one of the many things set to be dropped tonight at midnight to ring in the new year. That used to air here in Memphis on WMC-TV 5, until the program was dropped (pun intended :P ) a few years ago. What's the weirdest New Year's Eve object-drop that you know of?

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
