WEEK 32 – Sam's Club Pre-Remodel, Set II
Once you finish up at the checkouts, you have to walk down an actionway of sorts to the store's exit. Between the entry and exit vestibules is a wall forcing customers to explicitly go to the exit so that an employee stationed there can check your receipt against the number of items in your cart and make sure you're not getting away with anything you're not supposed to (a feat I'd imagine would be much trickier in a warehouse club given its bulk packs of items, lol!).
Anyway, before we make it fully down that path, we're stopping to take one last look at the electronics department from afar. I liked how this one turned out! You can see the digital photo, optical, and hearing aid centers all off in the distance as well.
Even now, just two months into the remodel, this view has seen several changes, with the photo center completely removed along with some other item relocations in electronics. I've been keeping up with the remodel as I visit, but won't be posting weekly updates as I've done before with other projects. Instead, I'm looking to simply post those photos as time allows. Given that I've been sitting on this set for a while though, several remodel pics have already amassed in my backlog. I'll try to get them uploaded before the end of this month if at all possible... (but if I don't, it's because college! :P )
