Coursework Final Piece
Textile Design is a course I would like to explore as I am very intrigued in learning new skills to develop those I already have and use them to find which specific techniques best suits my talent and maximise my individual strength and creativity.
In my work, I mainly explore the relationship between the artist and the technique they use, as I feel that it is important how you interact with it, as overall it is what has helped portray the piece of art. With the influence of many artists, I try find diverse ways to portray unusual art with the use of their techniques and use my own ideas to combine and collect everything together.
I also try do this through experimentation, where the techniques I gain and learn from artists, I use to combine them with different media until I find one which best suits my interest and continue to develop it into something more unique and engaging.
From a young age, I have always been so fascinated by the different elements within art itself. Which can even be something so small like a broken conch for example, which starts off as a forgotten object but then becomes a story or even an extraordinary memory; leaving a sense of sanctuary and discovery of the things we see within reality.
By completing this degree, I will gain imaginative and creative skills to accomplish my ambition as I feel I will be a great asset at your university.
