Charlotte Inspired Work Animals, Plants & Birds
Early works created at the start of my 'Animals, Plants & Birds' Unit. Inspired by the work of artist Charlotte Caron. I was interested in the concept of how animals can reflect the personalities of people. Using Photoshop I layered animal heads onto photographs I had taken and using the various tools available created a paint drip effect to mimic Charlotte Carons work. On the left hand side I practised the artists method of painting on top of the portrait, using acrylic paint and ink I was able to achieve the desired effect. (Each piece is A4 size)
