In Between 2 Cliffs
This is by far the most dangerous spot I put myself in for taking photos. There was less than 5 feet of not so level ground and most of that was taken up by the tripod. Changing lens and swapping in the camcorder up there was quite fun as well, and it was next to impossible to get the tripod level for a panoramic shot. I hope Sony will devise a way for the LCD screen to flip up in portrait mode, as it will be very handy for situation like this one. To prevent myself from becoming a tasty meal, I was also loaded with bear spray and mosquito repellent. Elevation is about 1891 m (6206 ft) at this point.
