65834 at South Blyth

'J27' class 0-6-0 No.65834 stands outside South Blyth (52F) shed on 19th March 1967 in the company of a diesel locomotive brake tender and what looks like the nose of a class 37 peeking out of the shed, the portend of things to come in the area. This reliable workhouse of the north east for over six decades was to be withdrawn within weeks of Charlie taking this transparency and 65834 was disposed of just over the river at Hughes Bolckows, North Blyth during the August of 1967.
