Military Personnel Carrier

Looking more like a vehicle used for carrying passengers on a railway in Asia than in the UK, this military personnel carrier was dumped out of use at Arncott on the Bicester Military Railway on 15th May 1990. It bore the Army running number '9116' and was built by Clayton Equipment Co., Hatton, Derby (works Number 5427) in 1968 as a powered vehicle but was subsequently converted to a non-powered trailer vehicle as seen here.
