The Computer Age has Arrived!

The wonders of modern technology in India. Veteran metre gauge 0-8-0 saddle tank built by Hudswell Clarke (Works No.1644 built in 1930) approaches the exchange sidings serving the Riga Sugar Mill with loaded cane trucks and passing the local computer training school. This works is in the north of Bihar state, a few miles from the border with Nepal and connected to the Indian Railways metre gauge main line, which I understand has now been re-gauged. Taken on 11th January 1999.
