Downtown Detroit....
At 11pm on a calm September everning, the downbound MV Indiana Harbor is coming up on downtown Detroit. Dead ahead are the lights of the Renaissance Center and the GM Headquarters buildings which alternately turn red, then blue. Just to the left approaching off the Indy's port side is the upbound ITB Olive L. Moore/Lewis J. Kuber. On the far left, the lights of Detroit's Ambassador Bridge spanning the Detroit River can be seen. Just a beautiful evening to pass through Detroit on the river.
