NINO PESCE VISUALLY IMPAIRED LECTURE

Philadelphia - September 8, 2017

An endearing aspect of the Wills Eye Hospital Pre-residency training program is the annual visit by Nino Pesce, a visually impaired speaker who provides insight into the unique problems facing the blind, and how to interact with them.

It's a very emotional experience for the class as Pesce tells personal stories and, later, asks them to close their eyes and walk in public spaces outside the hospital.
