Fernleigh tunnel.

Having just moved up to Newcastle this was my first foray out exploring the new neck of woods.
I'm sure this tunnel has been photographed thousands of times but I just loved it!
A beautiful walking/cycling track leads to the tunnel which is only a 1 km walk from the road.
An amazing piece of history (used to be a track for coal trains) preserved for all to enjoy.
