Dragonfly - IMG_4592_edited-1

This was my first shoot trying to capture damselflies and dragonflies. I struggled a bit with how fast they move and also I couldn't zoom in much with my 24-105 lens. Could someone please confirm if this is a dragonfly and if yes what type? I am keen to learn more about them.
