Plaster casts of Bubblewrap and Can//Two bases of Drink Bottles manipulated

These objects were part of my collection of works about our worship of consumerism, the left piece represents a reference to totem poles which are carved wood representing dieties and mythological story; it has a plaster cast of Bubblewrap translating a throw-away material into a monolithic ancient form. The right piece was an experimentation of manipulating plastic with heat creating a form which balances, again an attempt experiment with this material and a comparing of consumer goods and priceless ancient objects
