Panorpa cf communis - scorpionfly

What´s this weird looking thing? It´s a female scorpionfly! But why scorpion? The males have a thick pronounced tail, which resembles a scorpions stinger. But it´s not a stinger at all. It´s the males genitalia.

This species is either P. communis, or P. vulgaris (identification by Benjamin Fabian).
